On Aug. 27th, Chairman Mr. Yang Weidong had a cordial meeting with Mr. McCrea, Co-CEO of Energy Transfer. Leaders such as VP Mr. Shen Xiaowei and President of US Branch Mr. Ma Tujun also attended.

In the meeting, Chairman Mr. Yang Weidong welcomed the visit of Mr. McCrea. He pointed out that STL and ET created the miracle of the energy development between China and the US through building global ethane supply chain based on clean energy. As of now, phase I of Lianyungang Project is fully operational. We hope to accelerate the landing and construction of phase II with ET. Mr. Yang Weidong also hoped that both sides could deepen cooperation in higher levels, with greater expansion and focus, contribute to the global "Carbon Peak, Carbon Neutrality" target and create the green better future together.

Co-CEO Mr. McCrea acknowledged 30-year hardworking development of STL. He presented that ET always treated STL as a vital partner, and no matter in the past, at present or in the future, ET would always fulfill the contractual commitment. He expressed that ET was continuously optimistic about the long-term, stable and wide cooperation between both sides, and hoped to deepen the cooperation with STL and achieve win-win development.

On the next day, Co-CEO Mr. McCrea visited the Lianyungang Project for the first time with the accompany of Secretary of Party Working Committee of Xuwei New District, Mr. Shi Haibo and Chairman Mr. Yang Weidong. They mainly visited the plants, DCS room and Hexing Terminal, etc. And they understood the operation and the future developing plan of the project in detailed.

The visit, tours and exchange enhanced the mutual trust between two enterprises and forged consensus on cooperation. Both sides will continue to carry out more discussions and in depth communication on deepening and expanding cooperation areas.
