Oct. 29th, during Mr. Xun Kunlin, Deputy Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee & Acting Governor investigating Lianyungang, he visited Lianyungang Petrochemical Ltd., Co. which is the major project of Jiangsu Province to inpect the production and operation condition accompanied by municipal leaders such as Mr. Fang Wei, Mr. Ma Shiguang, Mr. Huang Yuanzheng, Mr. Shang Zhenjiang, Mr. Shi Haibo. Mr. Yang Weidong, Chairman & President of STL, Mr. Zhu Xiaodong, VP & GM of Lianyungang Petrochemical accompanied.

The party came to DCS room. Operators were focusing on the screen. Mr. Xu Kunlin affirmed the achievements of STL to seize opportunity, build light hydrocarbon integration and strongly promote the distribution of new energy and new materials. What is more, he learned more about the production & operation, emissions as well as development layout, etc.

Mr. Yang Weidong gave a report of conditions in production & construction, investment & cooperation, energy utilization. STL actively explored new models of international cooperation, cooperated with ETP, built ethane supply side, got through global olefin raw material logistics chain, vigorously built a green, low-carbon, intelligent, new chemical materials technology company taking core as low-carbon raw materials. In the future, STL will take the ‘Fourteenth Five-Year Plan’ as direction, closely following National Strategy, leading by ‘the Belt & the Road Initiative’, continuously increasing the investment in Xuwei New District, expanding energy channels in all directions, using clean energy to achieve the ‘Duel Carbon’ target, which contributes to create model of ‘the Belt & the Road Initiative’ as well as accelerating the development of the New District.

Mr. Xu Kunlin expressed that, STL rooted in Lianyungang Petrochemical Industrial Park, overcame difficulties and actively fulfilled the mission of private enterprise. All of these showed the spirit of pioneering & innovating, dedication and serve country. He emphasized that enterprise must take advantage of ‘the Belt & the Road Intiative’, constantly strengthen international cooperation, keep closer economic & trade cooperation, combine export & import. Moreover, enterprise should balance development and safety, raise factors, build standards, strengthen the construction of intelligent control system according to the ‘Century Project’, so as to improve essential safety. Enterprise should also push the construction of the projects effectively, build a diversified energy supply system in order to contribute to Lianyungang Petrochemical Industrial Park to be the world leading industrial park.
