On Feb. 15th, Mr. Sun Guangyu, Party member and Deputy Minister of State Emergency Management visited Lianyungang Base of STL accompanied by Mr. Yang Xinzhong, Municipal Standing Committee and Executive Vice Mayor during the research of chemical industry projects in Lianyungang They witnessed  the production safety and risk control status of the base. Mr. Zhu Xiaodong, GM of the base, Mr. Zhang Yuanling, VGM and Mr. Ma Yongjun, Director of HSE Department gave a warm reception.

In the DCS room, Deputy Minister Mr. Sun Guangyu surveyed the overall layout of Lianyungang Petrochemical Project construction, safety risk control and producing operation situation in detail. He was impressed by the upgrade of “Five in One” information platform, duel prevention mechanism, digital construction and special rectification work. He encouraged the plant workers to link risk, hidden danger, inspection, personnel location, emergency handling and the others to form a closed loop and improve production control efficiency combined with their own process characteristics and management requirements. He also stated that Lianyungang Petrochemical would be expected to become the benchmark company of the production safety informatization in Jiangsu province and even the whole country.

Deputy Minister Mr. Sun Guangyu emphasized that safety comes from planning, design, construction and operating management, and we must thoroughly implement and study the Party's 20 Guiding Principles as well as the important directive on production safety from General Secretary Mr. Xi Jinping. We must use ideas, environment and policies well, and we should strengthen the source control, seize the key process, implement the work according to the overall idea of “One Prevention and Three Promotion”. And we should continue to focus on good experience and practices, summarize and refine to form institutionalized long-term mechanism to provide STL experience for the national chemical industrial projects to strictly control source access and strengthen risk control.

GM Mr. Zhu Xiaodong stated that STL would closely execute the national safety production requirements, continuously improve functions such as monitoring and early warning of major hazard sources, zoning management of enterprise safety risks, on-duty management of personnel, and management of the entire production process of enterprises according to the technological characteristics and based on the safety production informatization platform, in order to improve the power of safety production control and operation efficiency constantly, so that the accident hazard could be eliminated completely.  STL continues to contribute to the regional economy developing rapidly and steadily through the company’s high-quality developmentally motivated intelligent construction.
