On March 9th, Mr. Fang Wei, Vice Governor of Jiangsu Province visited Lianyungang Base for the company’s operation and management as well as development prospect during investigating in Lianyungang for foreign capital and foreign trade. Mr. Huang Lan, Deputy Secretary-General of Jiangsu Provincial government, Municipal Leaders such as Mr. Ma Shiguang, Mr. Huang Yuanzheng, Mr. Yang Xinzhong, Mr. Song Bo accompanied. Mr. Zhang Yuanling, DGM of Lianyungang Base gave a warm welcome.

DGM, Zhang Yuanling thanked Vice Governor, Fang Wei for the long-term care and support to Lianyungang Base . and he reported the construction and production, foreign trade condition as well as the future development plan of the project. At project completion and successful operation, the project could transform products nearly 5 million tons, and the output value would be 35 billion RMB. DGM, Zhang Yuanling expressed that as the major project of Jiangsu Province, we deeply feel the importance of this glorious mission as well as the great responsibility. We continue to strengthen our confidence and determination, keep up with the pace of our national development, take root in the real economy, and strive to build a low-carbon chemical new material technological company based on light hydrocarbon, driving the economic development of Jiangsu coastal area and contributing to common prosperity.

Vice Governor, Fang Wei emphasized during his investigation that foreign capital and trade was the strong engine driving economic growth as well as the importance we share to promote the high-quality development of opening economy. All levels and departments should strengthen their sense of service and implement policies to help enterprises, make greater efforts to attract and use foreign capital to ensure the projects under construction are completed and put into operation as soon as possible. What is more, all levels and departments should also make greater efforts to promote the steady scale and excellent structure of foreign trade, strengthen and expand the chain of competitive industries, and contribute more to the high-quality development of the province's open economy.
