STL Holds Director-Level Training Meeting to Advance Modern Corporate Governance

On May 25, STL's Management Excellence Office organized a training meeting for managerial staff at the level of Deputy Director and above. This meeting aimed to implement the President, Yang Weidong's directive that institutional learning must be combined with practical case studies and closed-loop management, fostering a positive atmosphere where management personnel lead by example in learning and applying institutional knowledge. This initiative marks a significant step towards the company's goal of achieving "management leadership" and promoting a modern corporate governance model tailored to the characteristics of Chinese private enterprises.

During the meeting, the Human Resources Director and the Safety Director of the Lianyungang base shared insights on implementing institutional culture and enhancing safety leadership.

 

In recent years, STL has focused on modernizing its governance capabilities and levels, continuously improving operational and management abilities, establishing scientific systems for talent selection, performance evaluation, and income distribution, enhancing  risk prediction, assessment, and control capabilities, and strengthening quality control and safety leadership in technology and products. These efforts lay a solid foundation for high-quality development and boost international competitiveness.

 

Aiming for "management leadership" and "technology leadership," the company continuously optimizes and enhances its operations, striving to realize its vision of "a century-old Satellite and an outstanding benchmark." In February 2023, the company established the "Two Leaderships" group to comprehensively review, revise, and improve company policies, fostering new productive forces while implementing an optimized and innovative institutional system at the company level, enhancing internal constraints and supervision effectiveness, and perfecting the modern enterprise system. By refining regulations in work processes, decision-making, and financial management, STL aims to build a decision-making, execution, and supervision system with clear responsibilities and mutual checks and balances, thereby advancing its governance capabilities and levels towards modernization.
