March 5th is the annual Lei Feng Day. In order to further inherit and carry forward ‘Lei Feng Spirit’, practice the thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a New Era and the purpose of serving the people, STL“Mother Yang's Public Welfare Activity” carried out volunteer activities with Tianming community of Daqiao Town.

At 8 am, more than 30 volunteers arrived at Tianming Community to provide free clinic for the residents. The chief physicians form Jiaxing Second Hospital and Jiaxing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was invited to carry out related projects for the free clinic. Doctors answered questions and provided health guidance for residents patiently.

At the site, four volunteers from ‘Mother Yang’s Public Welfare Activity’ volunteered to be barbers for the elderly and the disabled. This activity was a traditional  project of the organization and had been providing service for nearly 5 years, which was praised by the masses of people and become a window between the organization and the social disadvantaged groups.
