On February 9th, STL held its 2021 Advanced Awards and 2022 Work Deployment Conference. Chairman and President Mr. YANG Weidong, Deputy chairman Mr. MA Guolin, Ms. YANG Yuying, VP Mr. ZHU Xiaodong, Mr. GAO Jun, Mr. SHEN Xiaowei attended. Around 800 staff from HQ, three bases and a US company attended.

Mr. YANG Weidong made an important speech at the meeting. He conveyed Municipal Party Secretary, Zhang Bing's ardent expectations for private enterprises. He pointed out that becoming a Fortune 500 company is not only the expectation of the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government, but also the grand wish of all STL people in the Second Five-Year Plan. Mr. YANG Weidong emphasized that even though the overall outlook of STL cadres was positive, we had higher requirements and standards for ourselves because STL was an enterprise with great dreams and pursuits. If we contrasted with the new requirements and standards for the great development of the “Double Five-Year Plan” of STL, there was still much space to improve. He pointed out the typical problems existing at present through 9 aspects and 24 cases, and hoped that everyone could self-criticize and self-deny, and make a ful check and change.

Chairman Yang Weidong expressed that only when all STL cadres conducted self-examination and self-correction, faced problems squarely and cultivated internal skills, could they inject strong impetus into the realization of the grand goal of 2022. In this regard, he put forward clear requirements for newly appointed cadres in the two aspects of organizational construction and personal development.

The conference addressed The Work Summary of The Safety Committee of STL in 2021 and The Work Deployment Report of the Safety STL in 2022, which reviewed and analyzed the achievements and shortcomings of the safety work in 2021 and deployed the safety work in 2022.

Almost 200 teams and individuals were commended, and 260 managers and professionals were appointed. Representatives of all departments made statements on management work.

The bugle of charge for the new year has sounded, which means STL has fully entered the first year of The Second Five-Year Plan. Under the strong leadership of the board of directors, STL people will focus on the great goal and unify their effots to successfully achieve the business objectives of the opening year of The Second Five-Year Plan.
