STL Held 2022 Semi-Annual Business Summary Conference

On July 20th, STL held the 2022 Semi-Annual Business Summary Conference, reviewing the objectives and the progress of key works in the first half-year, summing up experience and lessons, analyzing errors and deficiencies, and planning and deploying objectives in the second half-year. Chairman and president Mr. Yang Weidong attended with the board of directors and the management team. Nearly 600 employees from all Centers, Bases and Divisions participated in the conference.

 

At the conference, Chairman Yang made an important speech. He affirmed the achievements in the first half year. At the same time, he also hoped that all staff could improve the shortages and carry out each individual’s work in the second half year. He pointed out that a serious of Black Swan Theory led to weaker market demand and increasing economic pressure. STL should take social responsibility to provide living allowance for the employees, to take responsible for the investment of investors, to provide good products and service for customers, which was the responsibility of entrepreneur. Every time was treading on thin ice when operating a company. For the second half year, Chairman Yang put forward two requirements and pointed out four key factors.

He emphasized that although we would face many difficulties in the second half year, we had to solve and overcome it, not to fear it. Jogging will be regressive, moderate running could only maintain the pace, only fast running could result in a lead, so he declared three requirements:

 

1.Strengthen cultural belief, completely emancipate the mind

We had to completely emancipate the mind, took “Two Heart and Three Practical” as core, started from “Three In Favor Of”, keep the objective in mind and keep the drive to learn and improve from benchmark.

 

2.Adhere to "Four Sinking", forward service, promote the "Two Leading"

Improving constantly was the manager’s duty as well as the embodiment of the manager’s core value. There were lots of improvements in the company.

 

3.Stick to benchmarking and let data “speak” itself

The origin of “Two Leading” was the contribution to benefits and the extra value. The key of the proposal was execution and result. We must have data and use chart and form to represent the result.

 

At the meeting, VP Mr. Shen Xiaowei read out the notice about setting up “Two Lead” Sustainable Improvement Leadership Group, and the Deputy Director of the President’s Office Mr. Liu Xipeng made the first publicizing of the implement. In the future, STL would continue to organize relevant training and make further interpretation.

HRP Ms. Bai Wei read out the appointment document. The Conference also commended a batch of teams and individuals who had outstanding performance in the first half-year, and held the award ceremony.

 

Dream comes from action, struggle leads to future. The critical battle in the second half-year has already started. New journey looks forward to new actions. All STL people will directly face the difficulties with one heart and one mind under the leadership of the board of directors, promote solid work, build the competing strength of “Two Lead, in order to struggle for the second “Five-Year Plan” and the 30th anniversary of the company!
