The Provincial Conference on Accelerating The Construction Of Global Advanced Manufacturing Base was held in Hangzhou on May. 18th. Secretary of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Yi Lianhong was an honored guest and featured speaker at the conference. The conference brought recognition and praise by highlighting the province’s advanced manufacturing units such as the National Manufacturing Individual Champion Enterprise, special "little giant" enterprise, "Zhejiang Manufacturing Tiangong Ding" award-winning city, county, etc. STL was honored to be awarded “National Manufacturing Individual Champion Demonstration Enterprise” where Secretary Mr. Yi Lianhong presented the trophy to Chairman Mr. Yang Weidong.

This year is the 20th year since General Secretary Mr. Xi jinping made the important arrangements for building advanced manufacturing base when he worked in Zhejiang Province. Secretary Mr. Yi Lianhong emphasized in his speech that we should continue in the spirit of General Secretary Mr. Xi jinping’s important instructions, by thoroughly implementing the "Eight Eight Strategy": Insist on treating high quality development as a priority mission, treat accelerating transformation and upgrades as the preeminent way to promote manufacture industry high-end, intelligent, green integration, to promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system with Zhejiang characteristics, accelerate the construction of a global advanced manufacturing base. All while striving to become a new fulcrum of global advanced manufacturing, a pioneer of intelligent manufacturing, a new model of innovation-driven, and a benchmark of green development, strive to write a new chapter in the construction of a strong manufacturing province, and provide a solid foundation for building an "important window" with "Two First".

The manufacturing industry is the foundation of the country.
