During the gathering, Mr. Zhu Xiaodong, the General Manager of Lianyungang Petrochemical, delivered a rallying call. He underscored that this overhaul represents not only a pivotal challenge for the company in the current year but also a crucial endeavor in meeting annual performance objectives. With formidable tasks at hand and exacting technical demands, Zhu urged all personnel to rally around the overarching goal of "ensuring a stable halt, conducting meticulous repairs, achieving seamless restarts, ensuring prolonged operational excellence, and ultimately delivering tangible benefits." He stressed the imperative of unified leadership of headquarters, emphasizing the importance of Process optimization, safety, and environmental protection, standardization construction, factor guarantee, and team building. The scope of this major overhaul encompasses the 1# ethylene unit, select downstream facilities, and associated auxiliary infrastructure, with an anticipated duration of approximately 50 days. Lianyungang Petrochemical remains steadfast in its commitment to upholding the principles of safety, environmental stewardship, cost-effectiveness, superior quality, and operational efficiency, ensuring that "gas does not go up to the sky, oil does not fall to the ground, and sound does not disturb the people", and jointly create a new model of "one million tons of ethylene five years a repair".
